They were fixed together with standard nuts, harley quinn costume kids bolts and washers so they worked like hinges making the wings were easy to pull up with little force. And part of the left over pipe was used to insure that the cord used to pull up the wings had a path to follow. The cloth is a little weight canvas style fabric which was cut to a diamond shape that fit the wings and then attached at the top and side with cord and with white cable ties on the middle arm.
